Add Cost Codes to your timecards

This video will show you how to enter cost codes in order to be able to enter time quantities for both employees and equipment. 

 

  1. Access time cards by clicking “Open” under the time card module. 

        
  2. Select the time card you want to approve. 

    • Open calendar view by clicking on the calendar icon on the left side of the screen next to the date you would like to select. 

    • Select the day you have been working from. The time card will be dark blue. 

    • Make sure you are on the project and foreman you would like access to. These are indicated on the top of the time card. 

  3. To add cost codes, click the plus button next to the text that says, “Click To Add Cost Codes.” 

    • Select the project for which you are entering codes under the text that says, “SELECT PROJECT.” 

    • You will be able to select cost codes from the menu under the text that says, “SELECT CODES.” You can also search the cost codes in the search bar on the right side. 

    • Select the cost codes by pressing the green plus button on the right side of the code. 

    • As you add cost codes, they will be listed under the text that reads, “Assigned Cost Codes.” 

    • You can move around the codes or alphabetize them. 

    • Click “SAVE CHANGES” to add the cost codes to your time card.  

  4. You now will have the option to add hours for employees under labor codes, and hours for equipment under equipment codes.
