Uploading Budget

These videos will show you how to upload an existing budget into Riskcast using the upload tool. 

 

  1. Access the Upload tool  in the top right corner of your Riskcast home page. 

  1. In the Upload tool, you can copy information and data in from another sheet, like an Excel sheet or Google Sheet. You also can type in the information. 

  2. On the left side of the Upload page, Select Budget: 

  3. Under Upload type, select the correct file type:

    1. Budget - You can enter your cost codes, cost types associated with the cost code, description, and budget amount ($) and hours, and forecast amount ($) and hours. 

    2. Quantities - Define the quantities (budget and forecasted) and Unit of Measure for each cost code entered. You can also define an additional budget and forecasted $ amount at the quantity level. 

    3. Cost Code - Users can create cost codes for a project based on a Cost Code Template (additional info coming soon) 

    4.  Earned Quantity Rules - You can define claiming schemes by utilizing this upload. (additional info coming soon) 

  4. Add any data you want in the sheet by either typing it in or copying from another sheet. If you need to delete the information in the sheet, click the eraser icon in the top right corner of the upload page. Click the green upload icon  to upload the data. 

  5. Verify your upload by going to go to the Job Cost module. Select Jobcost from the left hand navigation menu, then select the Cost > Budget Tab
