Once the Equipment Transport Module has been turned on in the organization (see instructions for that here)To set up Equipment Transport Types, navigate to the Organization page and click into the Lists Icon. 

 

 

Once you select the List icon, you can see the drop-down that contains the List type: 

 

 

Then you have to choose Equipment Transport types and after choosing that Option, a list containing the Transport Types appears. 

 

 

Here you can add new Transport Types. Follow the instructions below:

 

1. Click on the Add icon: 

 

 

2. This screen appears. After adding information regarding the Code, Name and Description, save it and a new list item is added on the Equipment Transport Type list.

 

 

3. To delete a Transport Type, click into the item and hit the delete button in the top right corner. Note that an equipment transport type that has already been assigned or used in the Equipment Transport Module will not be able to be deleted due to the history. 

 

How to Set an Equipment Default Transport Type

 

1. To Set an Equipment Default Transport Type, you first go within People and Equipment Module: 

 

 

2. In this module, go to Equipment tab, as shown below: 

 

 

3. Choose an Equipment and then Click the green button to Edit it. In the screen that appears, go into the Assignment Info tab. There you can see, listed as the last one, the Select Transport Type Option. 

 

 

4. In the Select Transport Type drop-down, after clicking, there are the options of the (above mentioned) List shown : 

 

You choose one of the Items and this is how the default Transport Type is added. Click save to save the changes. When using the Equipment Transport Module, this value will be the default for moving each piece of equipment.
