Riskcast includes a feature that allows users to track material quantities for material cost types directly from the time cards. This functionality helps users track progress quantities for materials anticipated on site. These materials do not affect productivity as it is only applied to the M cost type, and not associated with the installation.

How to Allow Material Cost Codes in The Timecard

Open the organization tab

Select desired company

Under the timecard section, select “Allow Material Codes on Timecard”.This allows people to enter quantities directly on the timecard.
4. When complete, click save.
How to Enter Quantities For Materials in The Timecard

Open the timecard module

Assuming that you have an M cost type in your project, select “click to add crew”, to view to track quantities.

There’s an icon here that shows that this has a material cost code.

Click to enter quantities. You are able to add quantities, but not hours because it is only a material cost code.

Click the Review button

Here, you can view and edit the Period Quantities. You also have the option to enter notes.
