Get a quick overview of of our Jobcost Tool. This includes where to find information on your budget, actual cost, real-time reports, and other printed reports. 

1. Access job cost by clicking “OPEN” under the job cost module. 

      

2. You will see several tabs as part of the Jobcost tool. At the top left, there is cost, analysis, and reports.

   • In the cost section, you’ll see subsections for budget, actual cost, and cost event. 

COST: 

1. Budget: 

   • In the budget,  you can choose the specific project you would like to view. 

   • You can also choose which codes to show of all codes, active codes, or disabled codes. 

   • You can select the cost type to show of labor, equipment, or materials. 

2. Actual Cost: 

   • In the actual cost section, you can look at cost to date and the forecasted cost. 

3. Cost events: 

   • In the cost event section, you can look at individual cost events. 

ANALYSIS: 

1. You can look code by code of how you are trending against a particular item based on how your budget was set. You can look at the analytics or details to see different information. 

REPORTS: 

1. You can select the project you want to look at and the available reports (whether it is a gains/losses report, period cost report, productivity report, or other).
