Inactivating a Crew Lead

Previously, if a crew lead is deactivated and removed as a crew lead, their time cards do not "disappear" but are not easily visible to users via the application. Changes have been made recently to ensure that if a crew lead is terminated, users can still see their historical timecards.

Crew Leads can be inactivated automatically manually, via integration, or API. The simplest way to deactivate a crew lead is as follows:

1. If the "Employee" record or "User" record is deactivated, the crew lead record will automatically become inactive for each project for which they have been selected as a crew lead.

2. The system will inactivate the crew lead record and record the date of the last timecard the crew lead had filled out.

3. The crew lead will show as "inactive" on the crew lead drop down within the time card module.

4. The crew lead will only show up on the drop down list for dates equal to or less than the date of their last timecard. In the screenshot below, "Casper" has been inactivated as of 2/15/2023. He shows up on the list for 2/13/2023 because his inactivated date is greater than the date of the timecard selected, but the system still notes he is inactive.

Note on the next screen shot, Casper no long appears on the drop down list because this date is greater that Casper's inactive date.

5. New timecards will not be able to be created for the inactivated crew lead.
